DUMBO Art Fest / One9
I went to the DUMBO Arts Under The Bridge festival yesterday and I have to say, I was mostly underwhelmed but there were a few highlights:
1. I finally got to see MSLK’s eco-installation, Watershed (and catch up with Sheri and Marc)

… I would go to this. MoMA MiXX is a benefit dance party hosted by The Junior Associates of The Museum of Modern Art. MoMA will transform their lobby into a giant dance floor with an open bar, guest artists and DJ’s. FLY 16x9 (creators of editorial fashion film) will be projecting video. Check out the reel they put together to promote the event.
Nonsensical Infographics
Designer, Chad Hagen reversed the roles of information graphics for this project, explaining that generally an infographics’ level of success is based on how much and how well they communicate their data — the classic form follows function. In this series, form is king and dictates what the infographic communicates. It is pretty non-the-less. [via Black. White. Yellow]
