The 21st Century Object Poster
Austrian designer, Albert Exergian created a set of posters that are representations of popular television shows. Apparently his restrained modernist approach references “Object posters” from the early 1900’s. Read more about the history of object posters and Ablbert’s project on Hoefler & Frere-Jones’ blog.

Check out these photos from Danish photographer, Jakob Hunosøe. A lot of his photos appear to be mirror images but on closer inspection you can see that they’re only set-up to appear so. I just love the color and his ability to make the ordinary extremely engaging. [via kitsunenoir]

iPod Boom Box / Hope and Ben
I was lucky enough to meet and hang out with painter, Hope Gangloff in her studio this past weekend. I have already blogged about her work (about a year ago) — clearly I am a fan, so I thought I would post about the awesome iPod speaker “boom box” in her studio (her husband, who is also a very talented painter, named Ben Degen, made it for her).
