Andy Warhol Piñata
There will be a giant Warhol piñata head for guests to take a crack at tomorrow night at  The Brooklyn Museum’s annual Brooklyn Ball. Apparently it is 20-feet tall and so far it is a mystery what the “candy” is inside (although they have said it is eatable). That is amazing! This almost makes me want to pay $500 for a ticket (NOT) but it is a fun way to promote their upcoming Warhol show in June....

Exit Through The Gift Shop
I went to see the new Banksy film, Exit Through The Gift Shop with a few friends last night, including Sean. It is a really interesting film that turns art/street art on it’s head and ends in a very different place than expected — so of course, we had to discuss afterwards over a  PRR (or two). I wanted to post about it today but what having trouble solidifying my thoughts when I noticed...

The Waiting Is Over...
Le Whif finally arrived today (after much delay over there in Paris). I have to say it’s pretty cool, but way overpriced (I mean I can inhale a bunch of brownie mix for next to nothing by comparison) but I love the idea and the packaging is great and I am a sucker for new weird products (especially if they are from Europe)… So yeah, if you are willing to pay the shipping and wait for...

22-Pistepirkko
I am in love with this student project that Gary posted the other week. It is vinyl cover art for a Finnish band, 22-Pistepirkko by designer Johannes Rantapuska. [via whateverforever blog]

It's Your Ride
Ok, so I posted this last year, but I still love it and I just finally dusted off Le Peugeot and got out to enjoy the city during this crazy “summer” weather. I am so psyched that it is bike season again! So if you haven’t seen this, it is a bike short by Cinecycle.

Mini Easter
I hope everyone enjoyed the amazing weather this past Easter Sunday. I know we certainly did — here are a couple of photos I snapped while ridding in my parent’s Mini Cooper convertible en-route to Easter brunch in CT.

From Sea to Shining Sea
Of course we all know that The Heads of State do awesome work, and I’m sure most of you have seen their new travel poster series all over the “blogosphere.” But I just went to their AIGA lecture about collaboration this past Thursday and it was a really really great talk. So I am posting this just in case (a) You forgot they were awesome  (b) You haven’t seen these posters...

Your Too Old
I love this image by Sabino — a student/blogger/photographer from Chile. His images are really beautiful. I also love this because it reminds me of my Dad (grin)… turn up the kids — it’s FRIDAY! [via Design Crush]

Pantone 1985
We are doing a bit of Spring cleaning in my office and found these gems — a set of Pantone books from 1985. Amazing, rainbow power! I totally want to take one home as a collector’s item. Also check out this box of colored pencils (NEW complete 90’s color range) YES!
