Meowoodle
Need I say more? Meowoodle is my new favorite tumblr blog. Thanks for the like Karin!
Emilio Gomariz noticed that Mac OS X remembers the positions of files and windows when you minimize them so instead created 114 Photoshop files, placed them in exacting position, then minimized them on the dock. When he re-opened them, in order, the alphabet unfolded. Cool! Except for the music… [via Gizmodo]
Scott Campell’s work is awesome — tattoos and art. Watch him talk about it on The Nowness. [via Deamplified]
I can’t stop looking at watches lately even though I just bought 2 awesome ones from May28th. I already have a Nixon that I love, but their Time Teller watches are calling me (even if they are for men). The biggest problem would be choosing the color! [via Design Crush]
Who doesn’t love a smart typographically nerdy poster? Designed by Eivind Soreng Molvaer. [via Design Crush]
I have always loved seeing Tyvek (a synthetic paper that is extremely light but at the same time extremely robust, waterproof, tear-proof, 100% recyclable) used in creative ways. I especially love / want this bag by Saskia Diez. [via Whatever Forever]
Just came across this animated short. Year of the Rabbit from Frater. The year of the Rabbit – is supposed to be the opposite of the last. Whereas the Lion (RE: 2010) is full of ups and downs and topsy-turviness, the Rabbit is more consistent with lots of emphasis on following the path laid out for you. Thus far 2011 has not played quite so smooth for me, but we still have a ways to go — fingers crossed. Better late than never! Also if you like this check out The Year of The Ox. [via Design Crush]
AIPAD’s current site nav is really interesting, you can’t really understand it from the img I posted below, so go there and check it out.
It feels like there is a piece of paper with holes punched in it, on top of your mouse — which happens to be a color-changing tiddlywink, that is about 2/3 larger than the holes. The idea is great, but I do think the drop shadows are a bit heavy and everything feels small.
Check out the valentine promo I designed for photographer Deidre Schoo. It’s been picked up on a few blogs! You can check out more of my work here. [photo via Jasmine Defoore]

I don’t often have flowers around but I can’t help but love this discretely romantic vase by Eva Milinkovic.
I thought this would be an appropriate Friday post considering that I know a few cats that have a very special way of ruining Saturday morning sleep-ins. Simon’s Cat series so amazingly on point. Thanks for the link Omri!
