Corporate Animal Love

Corporations do a ton of fucked up things to the environment but they are also in a position to do some great things to help make up for it (a little). I have recently encountered two really interesting ways companies are doing this.

Save Your Logo creates an opportunity for companies represented by a plant or animal in their logo to contribute to the conservation of that species. Lacoste is the first major brand to join this program.

Haagen-Dazs Loves Honey Bees is a campaign to help save the honey bees because cononies have started dying-out at alarming rates. Haagan-Daz’s angle plays up their use of only all-natural ingredients and therefor their relationship with bees that pollinate ingredients in nearly 50 percent of all their flavors.
