Last night I went out to DFA’s CMJ kick-off party at Brooklyn Bowl to see Yacht put on a great, great show. We all know their music is good, but their performance made the night. Their quirky geometric choreography (involving white microphones with long cords) combined with extreme black and white outfits, her anthropomorphic look (now with short hair) and the projected black and white geometric graphics came together so beautifully. It was really an awesome time.
