In this week’s issue of New York Magazine, there is a pretty interesting article about women’s increasing consumption of alcohol, entitled The Gender Blender. I love the illustrations by Hope Gangloff that accompany the story. They are a bit unexpected for NY Mag, but they are evocative, eeire and perfect for the mood of the piece. Her forms remind me a bit of Egon Schiele but with the composition of Toulouse-Lautrec.
