I hate to be a downer, but I can’t help but be tremendously upset by the oil spill in the Gulf. There are reasons to be enraged on a multiple of fronts, but the decimation of our wildlife is especially sad to me. Boston’s Big Picture (a website that captures daily news through photography) posted some terribly sad photos of of seabirds caught in the oil slick on a beach on Louisiana’s East Grand Terre Island.
