Designer, Steph Goralnick, designed a set of valentines to sell online, but then she decided that since the economy is in a state of such deep suckage she would spread the love and give them all away for free to ensure that people have a little something to give to their friends, enemies, lovers, coworkers, neighbors, secret crushes or total strangers on the subway.

So, she scattered 22 packets of cards around Williamsburg — hidden within plain sight and created this great map as a guide. My friend Declan found one yesterday and shared the project at his gig last night. I love this stuff! Steph’s work is really great too! Check out better documentation of her project on her Flickr set.
